Jelly Cleanser: On wet or dry skin, apply a few pumps to your hands and gently massage onto your face. Rinse off well with water. Can be used AM and/or PM.
Micellar Gel Cleanser: Rinse face and leave damp. Apply 2-3 pumps of gel cleanser to wet hands and massage into a lather on skin. Rinse off well. Can be used AM and/or PM.

What's the difference between the two cleansers?
Our pH-balanced cleansers are designed to effectively cleanse your skin without stripping it of moisture.
Custom Jelly Cleanser: A pH-balanced, non-lathering cleanser that leaves skin soft, clean, and supple. Creamy, jelly-like texture effectively removes makeup, especially when used on dry skin. Can also be used on wet skin.
Custom Micellar Gel Cleanser: A lathering, microbiome-friendly cleanser leaves skin refreshed and clean without being tight. Micellar technology removes dirt and grime, priming your skin for the next steps in your skincare regimen.
What is the fragrance like?
Both of our cleansers are fragrance-free to keep them ultra safe for use around your eyes. When we say fragrance-free, we truly mean it; unlike “unscented” products, we do not add anything to mask the natural scents of the ingredients. The smell will vary based on your selected goals and their individual ingredients.
How do I unlock different product formats?
On the final page of the quiz where we recommend your regimen, next to each product name, you’ll see a small arrow. Toggle the arrow to expand the product card, where you’ll be able to pick between our Jelly or Micellar Gel cleanser format.
What is the pH of the cleansers?
Our pH-balanced formulations are specially designed to effectively cleanse your skin without stripping it of moisture. Our Micellar Gel Cleanser has a pH range of 5.8-6.8, and the Jelly Cleanser has a pH range of 6.2-6.6.
What is the shelf life / How should the products be stored?
We recommend using Function of Beauty skin care products within 12 months of receiving them, and storing then in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight.
