Curly Hair

THE SCIENCE BEHIND
CURLY HAIR

Curly hair is produced from assymetric,
oval follicles which cause
curls at the end of hair strand

Spirals are formed from an uneven
distribution of keratin
on the inside edge of hair strands.

Possessing a higher concentration
of paracortical cells than
orthocortical cells leads to a slow,
uneven absorption of water.
